Laurine’s Bio:
Laurine Dennis is a Paramedic and EMS Supervisor. In 2002, Laurine joined St. Francois County Ambulance District as a paramedic, where she has devoted 22 years to delivering exceptional care to those in need.
Recognized for her leadership and dedication, Laurine was appointed as an EMS Supervisor in 2013. For the past 11 years, she has led by example, instilling a culture of professionalism and compassion within her team. Laurine’s passion for excellence led her to become a Quality Assurance officer, ensuring the highest standards of care for every patient.
Laurine’s contributions to the field have not gone unnoticed. In 2014, she was honored as the Star of Life recipient, a testament to her outstanding service and dedication. In 2016, Laurine played a pivotal role in launching the Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) program, further expanding access to essential medical services in her community.
Beyond her professional achievements, Laurine’s long-term goal is to inspire the next generation of EMS professionals. She is grounded in her faith and guided by the principles of Colossians 3:12-14, she leads by example, instilling a sense of compassion, integrity, and dedication in all those she mentors.
Outside of her career, Laurine finds joy and balance in her family life. Married to John for 24 years, she cherishes the love and support they share. Together, they have raised two daughters, Jadyn and Jocelyn, who bring endless pride and happiness into their lives. In her leisure time, Laurine enjoys immersing herself in the pages of a good book and exploring new destinations through travel. Yet, it is the serenity of the beach that holds a special place in her heart.
