The St. Francois County Ambulance District is a Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) pioneer, having launched one of the nation’s first MIH programs in 2015.
Our innovative Mobile Integrated Healthcare Network, also known as Community Paramedicine, brings together a collaborative team of specially trained Community Paramedics, Registered Nurses, and Community Health Workers dedicated to empowering individuals to thrive in the comfort of their homes.
By delivering proactive, patient-centered care, we bridge gaps in healthcare access, reduce unnecessary hospitalizations, and foster long-term wellness for our community.
