Kristy’s Bio:

Kristy Halter, St. Francois County Ambulance District’s Chief Financial Officer, has been with the company for 26 years. Beginning as a file clerk and evolving through various roles, Kristy’s journey includes many milestones. Her dedication and hard work led her from a wheelchair van attendant to roles in the billing department and, notably, as the Information Technology Manager. 

In 2016, Kristy’s exceptional service was acknowledged when honored as the American Ambulance Association Star of Life. Her consistently delivering outstanding contributions has earned her the Employee of the Month title multiple times. 

Kristy currently serves as our Chief Financial Officer, a position she earned through years of continuous growth and unwavering commitment to our organization’s success. Her roles in the billing department and her experience as the Information Technology Manager have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of our operations. Notably, she has also worked in the education department as the Training Center Accounts Manager, showcasing her versatility and dedication to different facets of our organization. Additionally, Kristy has played a vital role in human resources, contributing to the development and well-being of our team members. 

Beyond her professional accolades, Kristy is a devoted wife of 24 years, a proud mother to two children, and the owner of two miniature schnauzers. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends outside the office. Kristy’s adventurous spirit extends to her love for travel, allowing her to explore new horizons and create lasting memories. Additionally, she cherishes moments watching her daughter dance, highlighting her commitment to family and the pursuit of happiness.
