Davey’s Bio:

Davey Miller brings over a decade of dedicated service and experience as the Clinical Operations Officer at St. Francois County Ambulance District. With a steadfast commitment to excellence in emergency medical services, Davey has been an integral part of the district since 2006, demonstrating unwavering dedication and proficiency in various capacities. 

Davey’s journey in emergency medical services began as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where he honed his skills and demonstrated exceptional proficiency in delivering critical care under pressure. He obtained a Paramedic License in 2009 from Mineral Area College. His passion for advancing patient care led him to explore the realm of Community Paramedicine, where he played a pivotal role in bridging healthcare gaps and enhancing community wellness. 

Recognized for his expertise and dedication, Davey transitioned into the role of EMS Educator, where he imparted his knowledge and experience to the next generation of emergency medical professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the organization. 

Davey’s academic pursuits reflect his commitment to professional development. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science from Mineral Area College, laying a solid foundation for his career in emergency services. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Paramedicine at Missouri Southern State University, Davey remains at the forefront of cutting-edge advancements in the field, positioning himself as a leader and innovator in clinical practice and patient care. 

Beyond his professional endeavors, Davey finds immense fulfillment in his roles as a husband and father. Married to his wife, Becky, Davey cherishes family time and values the bonds that unite them. With two sons and one grandson, he embraces the joys of parenthood and delights in witnessing their growth and achievements. 

Davey indulges his love for the outdoors in his leisure time through activities such as hunting, fishing, and golfing. These pursuits rejuvenate his spirit and instill a deep appreciation for nature’s wonders.
