Mike’s commitment to advancing his skills and knowledge is evident through his participation in Tactical Medic training alongside his colleagues at St. Francois County Ambulance District (SFCAD) and two medics from Ireland. This experience not only expanded his expertise but also enriched his perspective on emergency medicine. Further demonstrating his versatility, Mike served as a crucial member of a police tactical team in the St. Louis area for approximately eight years, a role that demanded precision, calm under pressure, and an ability to respond swiftly to critical situations. His involvement in a Critical Care Pediatric transport team underscores his broad skill set and his unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care to the most vulnerable patients.
Mike’s professional ethos is centered on continuous improvement and leadership. He aspires to be a better leader today than he was yesterday, a testament to his dedication to his team and the wider community at SFCAD. His approach is one of support and respect, recognizing that a team’s strength lies in its unity and collective commitment to excellence.
