Professional Excellence: Mark’s professional journey is marked by notable leadership roles, including 8 years as the St. Francois County Presiding Commissioner and 16 years as the County Clerk. His tenure as County Clerk was particularly impactful, where he oversaw critical administrative duties such as HR responsibilities, payroll administration, and meticulous preparation of minutes for the county commission. Mark’s expertise in managing county documents and preparing the St. Francois County budget for 12 years underscores his deep understanding of fiscal and operational governance. 

Before his influential roles in county administration, Mark contributed his leadership to the City of Bismarck as a City Administrator. He further demonstrated his commitment to education and youth as a Bismarck School Board member for 15 years. These roles highlight Mark’s multifaceted leadership skills and his ability to impact different facets of community life positively. 

Community Engagement: Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mark has been a pillar in local youth sports, volunteering with local youth baseball programs for over 45 years.
